Design & Install Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
- 1. Bathroom Builders UK
Refers to the company operating under the name Bathroom Builders UK, located at Unit 6, Wedgewood Gate, Stevenage, SG1 4SU. - 2. Client
Means any individual or entity that engages Bathroom Builders UK to provide design & Install services for a fee. - 3. Quotation
Denotes the detailed breakdown of proposed installation works, along with any supplementary notes. - 4. Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
Refers to the contractual provisions governing the delivery of the Bathroom Builders UK Design & Install Service, as outlined in the relevant quotation. - 5. Order
Represents the Client’s formal confirmation and acceptance of the Quotation. - 6. Agreement
The legally binding contract formed between the Client and Bathroom Builders UK concerning the provision of design and/or install services, incorporating these T&Cs. - 7. Both Parties
Collectively refers to Bathroom Builders UK and the Client.
2. General Provisions
2.1 These T&Cs apply exclusively to the Agreement governing the delivery of design & Install services by Bathroom Builders UK and shall supersede any previous communications, discussions, or documentation between the parties.
2.2 Any amendments or deviations from these T&Cs must be expressly confirmed in writing by Bathroom Builders UK.
2.3 These T&Cs apply solely to design & Install services and do not constitute any form of warranty or guarantee for standalone product purchases. Please refer to our separate product guarantee terms for such cases.
2.4 Nothing in these T&Cs shall affect the statutory rights afforded to the Client under applicable consumer law.
3. Quotations
3.1 The applicable Quotation is appended to these T&Cs and is referred to as “Your Installation Quote”.
3.2 The Client must accept the Quotation in its entirety for the Agreement to proceed.
3.3 By submitting an Order, the Client confirms acceptance of the Quotation and the associated scope of work as described therein.
3.4 Any 3D visual representations provided are illustrative only. The final product selection is detailed in the product list, which should be reviewed and confirmed prior to the commencement of installation. Once installation begins, changes cannot be made. Clients are advised to raise any queries with their designated in-store advisor.
3.5 The Agreement shall only become effective once the deposit has been received by Bathroom Builders UK.
3.6 Any modifications to the Quotation must be mutually agreed upon by Both Parties and confirmed in writing or via email.
4. Service Delivery
4.1 The services to be provided will correspond strictly with the scope set out in the approved Quotation.
4.2 Any marketing materials, images, or specifications used by Bathroom Builders UK are for illustrative purposes only and do not form part of the Agreement unless expressly confirmed in writing.
4.3 Service delivery will take place on a mutually agreed date and time. Any rescheduling by Bathroom Builders UK will be communicated to the Client verbally or in writing. Delivery dates are estimates only and not contractual deadlines. Bathroom Builders UK shall not be liable for any losses or costs resulting from delays.
4.4 The Client’s signature on a “Satisfactory Completion” document shall be deemed conclusive proof that the services were delivered to a satisfactory standard.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 The total cost for the design & Install service is specified in the Quotation and includes VAT at the rate in force at the time of payment.
5.2 Bathroom Builders UK reserves the right to revise the price if:
- Additional services or products are requested by the Client that were not included in the original Quotation.
- Unforeseen work is required to complete the project that could not have been reasonably anticipated.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 The Client must provide Bathroom Builders UK with timely and unrestricted access to the premises to allow works to proceed.
6.2 All essential utilities (e.g., electricity, water) required for installation and testing must be made available by the Client.
6.3 It is the Client’s responsibility to obtain and bear the cost of any necessary planning permissions or approvals prior to the start of work.
6.4 The Client must ensure that all tools and equipment left on-site by Bathroom Builders UK are protected from damage, loss, or theft.
6.5 Any failure to meet these obligations may result in additional charges, for which the Client shall be liable.
7. Company Responsibilities
7.1 Bathroom Builders UK will provide all labour, equipment, and materials necessary for the completion of the installation, as specified in the Quotation.
7.2 All installations come with a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
7.3 Health & Safety and Environmental Responsibility
The company is committed to maintaining a safe working environment and aims to minimise its environmental footprint throughout the duration of the project.
8. Cancellation Policy
8.1 The Client may cancel the Agreement within 28 calendar days from the date the deposit was paid. To cancel, a written notice must be submitted to the store where the order was placed before the end of the 28th day. Upon receipt of a valid cancellation notice, any payments made will be refunded using the original payment method within 14 to 21 working days.
9. Termination of Agreement
9.1 This Agreement shall remain in effect until all services described in the Quotation have been completed, or until a date mutually agreed upon by the parties. For clarity, the Agreement will be deemed concluded once the Client either verbally confirms completion or signs a “Satisfactory Completion” form.
9.2 Bathroom Builders UK reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately in the event of non-payment by the Client of any amounts due under the Agreement.
9.3 Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party under the following circumstances:
- The other party has committed a material breach of these Terms and Conditions and, where such breach is capable of remedy, fails to rectify it within a reasonable timeframe after receiving written notice to do so.
- The other party commits a material breach that is incapable of remedy under any circumstances.
9.4 If the Client chooses to terminate the Agreement without any breach on the part of Bathroom Builders UK, the Client shall be liable to reimburse the Company for all work carried out and any costs reasonably incurred up to the date of termination.
9.5 Termination of the Agreement shall not affect any rights, remedies, or liabilities accrued by either party up to the date of termination, nor shall it prejudice any rights that survive termination.
10. Client Indemnity
10.1 The Client agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless Bathroom Builders UK from and against any and all claims, liabilities, expenses, damages, or losses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise directly or indirectly from any breach by the Client of their obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
